Distilled in the year that Glen Garioch’s Greenhouse Project came to fruition, our Vintage 1978 sees the welcome return of peat to our Highland malt – smoked like a distant smouldering fire.
Tasting Notes
Pear drops, fruit loaf and dark chocolate combine with the sweetness of poached fruit and ripe red apples. With just a hint of oak and Seville orange zest, the finish has a pleasant wood-like spiciness.
